Square Backdraft Damper
Backdraft Dampers also known as non-return damper only allow air to flow in one direction. In HVAC, non-return dampers are mostly found either before or after ventilation fans, especially for fans with a combined air plenum box. They allow air to flow in one direction while automatically closing to block airflow in the opposite direction.
Description
Material: Galvanized Steel
Blades/Louvers: Adjustable parallel or opposed blades to regulate airflow.
Frame: Sturdy frame for secure duct mounting, often with flanges for easy installation.
Manual/Automatic Operation: Manual models use handles or levers; automatic models include actuators (electric/pneumatic).
Bar Styles:
1) Parallel Blades: Blades move in the same direction for basic airflow adjustment.
2)Opposed Blades: Blades rotate in opposite directions for precise, balanced control and tighter shut-off.
