Smoke And Fire Damper
A Fire Damper is a critical safety device installed in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through ductwork or air transfer openings in fire-rated walls, floors, or ceilings. It automatically closes when exposed to high temperatures or when triggered by a fire alarm system, effectively sealing off the passage of flames and smoke.
Description
Material: Galvanized steel
Features:
1) Normally Open: Maintains airflow under normal conditions.
2) Automatic Closure: Activated by smoke/heat detectors via DC24V signal, triggering electromagnetic actuator to shut the valve and send closure feedback.
3) Manual Override: Allows manual closure for emergencies or maintenance.
4) 70 ℃ or 280 ℃ Thermal Fuse: Automatically closes the valve at extreme temperatures for fire containment.
5) Manual Reset: Requires post-activation manual reset to ensure system safety.
Applications: Designed for HVAC systems in commercial, industrial, and public buildings to block smoke and fire spread through ducts. Corrosion-resistant galvanized steel ensures durability and compliance with fire safety standards.
